I have worked with people with all three major categories of speech disorders: I had two interviews with SNFs, but the process was similar for both. Providing customized and effective communication skills instruction to clients in a variety of settings—including schools, hospitals, and mental health locations—while strengthening relationships with parents and caregivers to educate on successful home communication strategies. The interview was scheduled through the staffing agency. Here are some things to think about:

The schools in my area actually pay SLPs relatively well compared to other schools, but not compared to other settings.
